How do I use iPhone ringtones?
After exporting as iPhone (.m4r), import the file to your iPhone using iTunes/Finder or GarageBand, then set it as a ringtone in Settings. Ringtones must be ≤ 40 seconds.
How do I set it on Android?
Export as Android / Generic (.mp3), then transfer the file to your phone’s Ringtones folder, or select it directly in Settings → Sound → Ringtone.
Why is there a 40-second limit?
iPhone’s ringtone system limits files to 40 seconds; longer files cannot be set as ringtones. Android (MP3) has no such restriction.
