luxas

Luxas is an open-source multi-agent system for autonomous scientific research. Users need only specify a research topic in `RESEARCH.md`, and Luxas will automatically crawl literature (from OpenAlex, arXiv, CrossRef, etc.), read relevant papers, design and run experiments, generate publication-quality figures, and write LaTeX reports. It ultimately submits and produces a PDF with real citations. The entire workflow requires no manual intervention, supports long-running tasks, and features robust crash recovery. Luxas's intelligence comes from Claude and OpenAI o3 models, but its core is a persistent workspace featuring file-backed memory, externalized brain state, and independent author mode.
